Chamber Mates

Chamber Mates™ are lightweight sub gauge chamber inserts that allow you to safely fire and eject shells of a smaller gauge than your gun is chambered for. They are approximately the length of a fired shell (so you must have 2-3/4" chambers in your gun) and come with integral extractors that work in conjunction with the extractors of the gun to extract the spent smaller gauge shells.

Unlike full length barrel tubes that change the feel and dynamics of your gun b y adding two pounds of weight to the front end of the gun, Chamber Mates add only a couple of ounces -- and that "between the hands."

Tests show that patterns and velocities are little affected by shooting smaller gauges in larger gauge barrels. Chamber Mates publishes a long list of clay target shooters who have won competition events using these sub gauge chamber inserts in larger gauge guns.

They are available in 20, 28 and .410 for 12 gauge break-action guns, 28 and .410 for 16 gauge, .410 for 20 and 28 gauge guns.
